But what if we are experiencing a “dry spell ” in our earthly lives with God now?
Ezekiel chapter 37 gives a thrilling account of God’s hand upon Ezekiel and leading him to a dry valley by the Spirit. God asks Ezekiel a profound question in this dry, mix of bones in this valley. He asks Ezekiel, ” Son of man can these bones live again?” There are many accounts in the bible where God begins an encounter with a question.( Genesis 3:9,10) God is all-knowing and asks questions to call out to the heart of man.
